  1. Announcements & Updates
    >> Logo competition for QUEST-SJ
    >> Canvass for interest and timing in a future qualitative research symposium or workshop

  2. Hot Topic: Understanding "Bias" in Qualitative Research
Bias is a common element of rigor that is considered when planning or critiquing research, and is viewed quite differently across philosophical perspectives and research traditions. Natasha Hanson (Horizon Health Network) will lead a discussion to help us tackle the meaning of bias in qualitative research.

  3. Methodological Focus of the Month
Basics to a Mixed Methods Approach to Research. While there can be divergent opinions on the use of a mixed methods design, there are many compelling reasons to combine both qualitative and quantitative approaches in a study. David Speed (Psychology) will introduce us to some of the basics for planning a mixed methods design such as what it is, why you might do it and where to start in planning.

  4. Odds n' Sods
