Getting funding for any research project can be a challenging prospect; however, in addition to the usual sources (e.g. CIHR and NBHRF) there are other options to explore. Bryn Robinson (MSSU) and Shelley Doucet (UNB) will lead a discussion on looking for funding opportunities that include opportunities from traditional sources as well as from alternative sources, such as non-profit organizations and donors.
- Methodological Focus of the Month: Developing a Literature Search Strategy
Conducting a literature search is one of the essential skills required in any research project to develop a background for proposals, grants and the final write up. Courtney Boudreau (Liaison Librarian for Dalhousie Medicine NB) and Amanda Horsman (Librarian at the Université de Moncton) will provide tips for search strategy development and a live demo to help identify that literature important to your project.
